The Adaptoid is a robot designed by A.I.M. to replicate the powers of its opponent of any type using nano-technology.
Biography[]
When Captain America and Thor discovered that A.I.M was stealing Stark Industries technology, they sent the Adaptoid that can copy their abilities. Iron Man, Hawkeye and Wasp arrive to assist, but the Adaptoid replicates their abilites as well, attacking the Avengers with each of their powers. In the battle, Captain America discovers the weak point in its chest and strikes a devestating blow to the Adaptoid, shutting it down for good.
Physical Appareance[]
The Adaptoid in his normal state is a humanoid being of grey body and green glowing eyes.
When the Adaptoid replicates powers, it takes on physical attributes of the opponent from which it has adapted, Captain America's Shield is replicated, Thor's Mjolnir, Hawkeye's bow, some costume elements, etc. These attributes are light green in color.
