Jonathan Kimble "J. K." Simmons (born January 9, 1955) is an American actor and voice actor. He has done numerous live-action roles along with voice acting roles. He is known for his role on television as Dr. Emil Skoda in NBC's Law & Order, along with playing J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, reprising his role as the latter in various Marvel media unrelated to the Sam Raimi trilogy, including multiple animated series and the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In voice acting, having done the voice of White Knight in Generator Rex, Stanford “Ford” Pines in Gravity Falls, J. Jonah Jameson in Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man, Tenzin in the Nickelodeon show The Legend of Korra and Omni-Man in the Amazon Prime superhero action adult animated series Invincible.
