Madame Hydra, also known as Viper or Madame Viper, was one of Baron Strucker's lieutenants in HYDRA. She later joined the Serpent Society after HYDRA fell.
Biography[]
Early Life[]

She was originally a member of Nick Fury's squadron of agents and she is presumed killed after being shot by the Winter Soldier and caught up in the same explosion that blinded Fury in one eye. However, it is implied that this is what gave her scars on the right side of her face and made her hate people like Captain America. She eventually joined HYDRA and acted as one of Baron Strucker's lieutenants. During his time, Viper heard rumors of the Serpent Crown, which would give her the power to conquer the world in order to impose their new world order, using HYDRA to seek the crown, but without any success.
HYDRA[]
She served as one of Baron Strucker's lieutenants. After the Breakout, Black Widow brought a sample of the Hulk's blood to her. She was about to pay when Hawkeye attacked the HYDRA agents outside, defeated Black Widow, and tried to take the latter to the Avengers.
Skrull Invasion[]
At some point in time, she was captured and replaced by a female Skrull who impersonated her. The Skrull was captured and discovered by Nick Fury after some time.
After several months in a prison cell on a Skrull spaceship, Viper was rescued and freed by Captain America. Together, they freed other prisoners, both supervillains and superheroes. After facing the Super-Skrull, they stole a shuttle and managed to escape. When Viper and the rest of the prisoners came to Earth, they fought along the Avengers against the Super Skrulls. Later she and King Cobra were captured by S.H.I.E.L.D..
Serpent Society[]
The Society tried to break her out, and wound up being trapped underground with Clay Quartermain, Cap and Spider-Man. As the heroes tried to escort the civilians to safety, the Society retrieved their members one by one. Due to Captain America having a weak shield and Spider-Man having run out of web fluid and having to lift up the collapsing street that was above them, Viper and the Serpent Society had managed to escape from the collapsing street.
Appearance[]
Madame Viper is a tall woman with a voluptuous yet athletic and muscular build and long dark green hair, which covers the right side of her face. She has dark green eyes, wears green lipstick and wears a very form-fitting sleeveless green unitard that accentuates her figure. She also has mysterious scars on the right side of her face, which she hides with her hair.
Personality[]
Madame Viper shows to be very hateful to anyone who are against HYDRA. Her scars caused her to have such personality. In desperate times, she was willing to work with her enemies to get things done and remind them that after it's over, she'll resume her hatred again. She is also impatient, when Captain America tries to save the human prisoners who were replaced.

Even though Strucker and the real Viper never encounter, Strucker is suspected to have trusted Viper just like Black Widow and Grim Reaper, but Viper was replaced by an imposter.
