Summary

Kang the Conqueror comes from the 41st century to destroy Captain America, who Kang believes may soon cause his timeline to cease to exist.

Synopsis

After a discussion about futurists, and newspapers, Captain America tells Tony that he needs to learn how to fight hand to hand, not with a suit of armor. As Captain America had observed that Stark did not know how to fight, and correctly guessed that Stark did not know how to fight. Thor, Wasp, & Ant-Man take Blizzard into Prison 42 and he is taken to his cell.

When taken into the new prison, Blizzard asks in a nervous voice if he had mentioned he was 'really, really sorry.' In Avengers Mansion, Hawkeye and Hulk sit down and gleefully get ready to watch Cap fight Tony. The fight begins and Cap immediately knocks down Tony. After several fails Tony gives up and he says that this is the present and Cap reminds him those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

Kang appears out of nowhere and attacks them. They call for back-up. In Prison 42 Wasp, Ant Man, & Thor get the alert and leave. Hulk, Hawkeye, and The Black Panther join the fight against Kang. The others soon arrive and Iron Man demands to know what he wants. Kang says he will show them ten years into the future. They are in a barren waste land and he says that a war will wipe out the sun and everyone on Earth. Wasp asks what kind of war could do that and Kang says the war between the Kree and the Skrulls. He also says that ultimately it was Captain America who destroyed everything. Tony refuses to hand over Cap and the Avengers attack Kang. Hulk gets him off of his chair and Iron Man hops on. He then discovers his chair is based on some tech from Stark Tech and controls it to get them back to the present. Cap tells Iron Man that Kang will be back.
